SEATTLE, WA – Three people, including a young child, were injured Wednesday afternoon when a vehicle crashed into the departures area at the Sea-Tac International Airport.
According to a report by KING5, the driver accidentally hit the gas, causing the vehicle to jump the curb and hit several people near the Alaska Airlines check-in counter.
Three people were taken to Harbor View Medical Center for treatment. One of the victims, a 4-year-old girl, was said to be in critical condition.
The departures area was closed for several hours while investigators worked the scene. It is unclear at this time whether the driver will be cited for the crash.,
