KING COUNTY, WA — Authorities responded to a wreck Tuesday morning that blocked a right lane on Interstate 405 in Renton’s Kennydale area, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes past Exit 6 to Northeast 30th Street, along the west end of May Creek Park. It was first recorded by WSDOT at 10:55 a.m.
While the cause of the accident was not immediately clear, members of WSDOT’s Incident Response Team and the Washington State Patrol were on the scene by 11:00 a.m.
Footage captured in the area shows a traffic backup forming near the closed lane.

By 11:11 a.m., crews had cleared the scene and the right lane was reopened to traffic.
No injuries have been reported in the incident.
