KING COUNTY, WA — One person was injured Wednesday evening due to a pedestrian collision on Interstate 405 in central Renton, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place on the northbound lanes at State Route 169, near Renton Community Center and Henry Moses Aquatic Center. It was first reported by Trooper Rick Johnson at 5:46 p.m.
Officials have not disclosed the sequence of events leading up to the crash, but one person was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with undisclosed injuries. The WSP has not yet confirmed whether the patient was the pedestrian.

At this time, no pending charges have been reported, but an investigation was underway.
