SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A 33-year-old man died Monday night after his motorcycle was involved in a crash with another vehicle in northeast Lake Stevens, reports KIRO 7 News.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene in the 13600 block of 84th Street Northeast at about 10:00 p.m.

The circumstances behind the collision remain unclear at this time, but officials said the motorcyclist died from his injuries before deputies arrived.

Officials said the driver and a passenger in the other vehicle, both males under 18, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were rushed to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

A section of the roadway was shut down for multiple hours during the emergency response.

An investigation was being led by detectives in the office’s Collision Investigation Unit. Speed is believed to have played a role in the fatal crash.
