News: Woman hit, critically injured by driver in north Auburn

KING COUNTY, WA — A woman was hospitalized Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle in the Christopher area of north Auburn, according to KIRO 7 Seattle.

Auburn police said the incident occurred in the 3300 block of I Street Northeast, near Isaac Evans Park.

The circumstances behind the crash were unclear, but the victim received treatment from firefighters and medics on scene before she was transported by airlift to the Seattle trauma center. She was listed in critical condition.

Authorities confirmed a female driver was taken into custody following the collision. As of this writing, no further updates have been released regarding pending charges.
