SEATTLE, WA — A 64-year-old man was hospitalized Wednesday morning after his motorcycle was struck by another vehicle in south Seattle’s Industrial District, reports KIRO 7 News.
The crash happened in the 4300 block of 4th Avenue South shortly after 10:20 a.m.
According to the Seattle Police Department, the motorcyclist was riding southbound on the road when he was hit by a Nissan Pathfinder that was making a left turn.
The rider suffered a serious leg injury and was rushed to Harborview Medical Center.
Authorities said the Pathfinder left the scene but was later found unoccupied two blocks away. As of this writing, the suspect driver has not been located.
