KING COUNTY, WA — A man was hospitalized Wednesday evening after being ejected from a vehicle while confronting a car prowler in northeast Renton, according to FOX13 Seattle.
Renton Police responded to the scene in the 4600 block of Northeast Sunset Boulevard, near Duvall Avenue Northeast, at around 5:00 p.m.
Witnesses told authorities the man had been engaged in a dispute with a suspect who was seen prowling his car.
Police learned the man had held onto the suspect’s white SUV as it drove away. The victim was then ejected from the vehicle as the suspect made a sharp turn.
Officers arrived to find the victim laying in the roadway near the intersection. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An early investigation indicates gunshots may have been fired during the incident, but no other details have been released.
