SEATTLE, WA – Drivers in downtown Seattle were forced to seek an alternate route after a collision shut down East Cherry Street on Thursday morning.
According to a report by SDoT, the crash took place sometime before 9 p.m. near the intersection with 18th Avenue.

The events leading up to the crash, and the number of vehicles involved, are both unclear at this time. However, Cherry St. was blocked in both directions for over an hour while crews cleared the scene.
