KING COUNTY, WA — A semi-truck accident Thursday morning closed an Interstate 5 onramp for two hours near the Foster area in Tukwila, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

The collision occurred on the onramp connecting state Route 99 to I-5 southbound. It was first reported by WSDOT at 3:20 a.m.
A traffic photo captured at the scene shows an emergency vehicle responding to the disabled semi at rest off the left side of the roadway.
WSDOT said the ramp closure was necessary to all crews to safely remove the truck.
