SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A driver was injured Tuesday afternoon after a semi-truck overturned in a crash on Interstate 5 near Lynnwood, according to Trooper Rick Johnson with Washington State Patrol.
Semi collision blocking 2 left lanes on SB I5 right at I405. Minor injury to the driver. Multiple lanes have gravel debris from semi when it rolled over. Tow trucks are on the way but this will cause major traffic delays in the area. pic.twitter.com/4YFbM4NjnR

The accident happened on the southbound lanes of I-5 at the merge to I-405 near the Larch Way area. It was first reported by WSP at 3:24 p.m.
Authorities said the driver of the semi sustained minor injuries. It is unclear whether or not they were transported to a hospital.
Two left lanes were closed to traffic as a result of the accident.
A tow truck was en route, though WSP projected major delays in the area as crews worked to clear the truck’s gravel debris from the roadway.
