OLYMPIA, WA — A crash involving two vehicles caused two right lanes along Interstate 5 southbound to be blocked Tuesday night in Olympia, reported Trooper Robert Reyer with the Washington State Patrol for District 1.

The accident happened in an area of I-5 southbound just south of Pacific Avenue Southeast and was reported after 6:00 p.m.
Minor injuries were reported, but no other information about the people involved has been shared.
Authorities with the Olympia Fire Department and the Washington State Department of Transportation were on the scene.
An image shared by Trooper Reyer shows what appears to be a small totaled vehicle.
Commuters were told to expect delays.
By 6:16 p.m., the road was reported to be reopened.
