BENTON COUNTY, WA — A 19-year-old woman was hospitalized Monday after a semi-truck hit her vehicle near Kennewick and then left the scene, according to KOMO News.
Around 12:30 p.m., WSP troopers and emergency medics arrived at the scene along I-82 and treated the young woman before taking her to the hospital.
An early investigation into the incident revealed that the semi was traveling east on I-82 and hit the victim’s car while making a lane change.
The driver of the 18-wheeler semi remains at large, according to the Washington State Patrol.
