MANSON, WA – Two campers were airlifted to a hospital in Seattle after their trailer caught fire near Wapato and Roses lakes early Saturday morning, reports the Wenatchee World.
Chelan County Fire District 5 responded to reports of a fire in the area at about 2 a.m. on May 29. They found two injured campers, as well as a fire that had spread from the trailer to a passenger vehicle to nearby brush.
The injured campers were taken to Harborview Medical Center via helicopter, and firefighters successfully contained the blaze.
