SEATTLE, WA — Fire crews were called to investigate a report of smoke in the hallway of a Seattle apartment building Sunday morning, according to the Seattle Fire Department.

Upon arriving at the 2100 block of 26th Avenue South, the response team discovered that food from a stove on a seventh-floor unit had caught fire. The response was downgraded to cover a few units.
Commuters were advised to avoid the area due to the response.
