News: Tacoma apartment fire leaves 2 injured, 75 displaced

TACOMA, WA – One person was hospitalized and another treated for injuries following a large apartment fire in Tacoma early Monday morning.

According to KOMO, firefighters were called to the scene at about 2:15 a.m. at the Forest Hill Village Apartments within the 4300 block of South 41st Street.

Firefighters worked for over five hours to get the blaze under control. Only two residents sustained injuries in the fire, one of which was rushed to the hospital.

A total of 75 residents were forced to leave their homes as a result of the fire. It is still unclear what may have caused it at this time.
