News: Child pedestrian dies in Kent collision

KENT, WA – A 12-year-old child died after being struck and pinned between two cars near East Hill-Meridian Saturday afternoon.

According to King 5 News, the fatal accident occurred in the 10800 block of SE 208th Street at around 4:50 p.m.

Emergency responders attempted to save the child’s life, but were unsuccessful. They pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing. Local authorities believe one of the drivers might have experienced a medical emergency. They do not believe drugs or alcohol was a factor.
