Who we are, what we do, and why we do it

HANDSHAKE.jpgOur employee manual is a constant work in progress. We continually evaluate and refine our policies and procedures to make sure we are always providing the most efficient and effective representation to our clients. The one thing that doesn’t change is our core values and the philosophy of the firm. This is how our manual begins, and it is the first thing every new employee reads before they start working here.

I’m proud of who we are and what we do, and I’m glad to share that with you:

PHILOSOPHY OF THE FIRM

What we do is represent clients in personal injury claims against insurance companies. What we are offering our clients and potential clients is peace of mind. We are committed to offering a comprehensive package of compassionate service specifically designed to help our clients feel listened to and taken care of. They need to know at all times that we are handling their case with the highest possible level of attention and expertise so that they can relax and focus on healing their injuries, taking care of their families and getting their lives back to normal. Everything we do, and every procedure documented in this manual is designed to advance that goal. When you are using this manual and you are in doubt about what to do next, ask someone, but if nobody is available to help, ask yourself what would help the client feel peace of mind and you’ve probably made the right call.

Our firm wants to be known as a strong plaintiff’s personal injury law firm. We hold ourselves out as a champion for the injured claimant. For that reason nothing less than total dedication to our client is acceptable in this firm. This means that:

  1. We stay on top of our cases and move them quickly along.
  2. If a claim cannot be settled we act quickly and aggressively to file a lawsuit and move the case forward, always presenting the best possible claim on behalf of our client.
  3. We treat our clients with courtesy and respect, understanding their precarious situation as many of our clients are unable to work and therefore have no income, and many of them have no insurance for their medical expenses.

Most of our clients are unfamiliar with the legal process and do not know how to make the system work for them. Nothing less than a positive, aggressive approach for these clients is acceptable in this firm. Good work on a client’s file is done by following the guidelines and procedures outlined in this manual.
