Man and infant suffer injuries after being hit by SUV in Seattle

In an unusual accident, a man and his child in Seattle were recently hurt by an SUV. They were on the sidewalk near the intersection of Madison Street and Western Avenue when the accident occurred. The infant was in a stroller when the accident happened. According to reports, the driver of an SUV was trying to parallel park his car when he somehow jumped the curb. The driver of the SUV claimed that his foot got stuck underneath the brake pedal of the vehicle as he was attempting the parking maneuver. The vehicle hit the pair and pinned them against a building.

4-year-old hit by a car in Burien, driver flees scene

According to the King County Sheriff's Office, a 4-year-old boy was seriously injured when a Honda hit him. The incident recently happened a little over an hour after sundown when the boy's family and the boy were getting out of a van. The Honda was going approximately 40 miles per hour when it hit the 4-year-old. Apparently the driver pulled over but later fled the scene of the accident.

Man gets off bus then hit by car in Northeast Seattle

Many people rely on public transportation. Not only is it good for the environment, but it is also a great way to save for many commuters. With more commuters taking public transportation, such as buses, there are more pedestrians on or near busy roads. Unfortunately, that creates a higher chance of a pedestrian accident.
