A dangerous section of U.S. Highway 2 between Everett and Stevens Pass recently injured yet another victim. The crash was the third serious accident along that section of U.S. 2 in less than a week. According to reports, the latest car accident sent a 56-year-old eastern Washington woman to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with critical injuries.
Seattle residents may be disappointed to hear that the nation's truck drivers, train engineers and even pilots are not getting enough sleep, according to a study recently released by the National Sleep Foundation.
Between 300 and 400 truck drivers at the Port of Seattle walked off the job this week, saying that their trucks are unsafe for them and the public.
The Seattle PI reports that two people were killed this morning in a multi-vehicle crash on I-90 near Snoqualmie Pass. The collision involved three semi trucks and two other cars.
