My friend was crushed by a falling tree - Please help!

I don't usually use this blog to make personal appeals for help, but this time I feel I have to. Last Wednesday, April 26, my friend Mary Sabetto was driving southbound on I-5 heading toward Tacoma, when a tree fell across the road, crushing her Prius and causing serious injuries. Check out the horrifying dashcam footage.

Increase your uninsured motorist coverage. Please!

auto insurance.jpgA few months ago I sat down with a man who was looking into a personal injury claim on behalf of his wife. She had been driving in Mukilteo when a drunk driver crossed the center line and hit her head on. She suffered multiple injuries, but the most severe injury was to her ankle. She had already undergone several ankle surgeries and she was looking at a long and painful recovery. It was likely that she would suffer a permanent disability as the result of this incident.

I've Been There

Matt Professional.jpgNovember 21, 2002 was a typical November evening. It was dark and rainy and traffic on northbound Interstate 5 in Seattle was heavy. I was driving home from work, and I was very aware of the Volvo that had been tailgating me for the last mile or so. Suddenly, the traffic ahead of me came to a stop. I was able to stop my 1998 Mustang, but the Volvo behind me never even hit his brakes. He smashed into the rear of my car. The impact pushed my Mustang into a large SUV ahead of me. The rear end of my car was crunched in, and the trailer hitch from the SUV split my front bumper in two.

Now you're looking for a lawyer to help you with your insurance claim.  One question you probably have is "how long will this take?" The answer, as lawyers like to say is "it depends."

What Should I Do After A Car Accident?

I often speak about what not to do after an accident, but there are certain things you definitely SHOULD do after a car accident in the State of Washington to protect your claim, and to make sure you get the proper treatment for any possible injuries.
