Giving our all for brain injury victims
By Matthew Dubin of Dubin Law Group on Wednesday, April 6, 2016.
The brain injury alliance of Washington works to increase public awareness, support, and hope for those affected by brain injury through education, assistance, and advocacy. We often refer our clients who have suffered brain injury to the BIAWA for support and referral to the best medical help available.
On Sunday, April 3, we were able to return the favor by participating as a sponsor of the 2016 Walk, Run & Roll for Thought. This was a 5k around Green Lake to raise money for the BIAWA. It was a beautiful day and the event had record turnout. Thanks to everyone’s participation, nearly $30,000 was raised to help the Brain Injury Alliance with its mission.
We began our relationship with the Brain Injury Alliance of Washington this summer when we donated 50% of our book sales at our book launch party. We are proud to have been a sponsor of the Walk, Run & Roll, and we look forward to working in partnership with the BIAWA to continue raising awareness of the impact brain injury has on victims and their families, and to ensure that brain injury victims have the resources necessary to return to normal lives as soon as possible following their injuries.

Brain injuries are so misunderstood. Education and advocacy are desperately needed to help injury victims get on with their lives. We hope you will join us in supporting this important cause.
