Seattle man hospitalized after being struck by Light Rail train

SEATTLE, WA – A Seattle man was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a Link Light Rail train in Sodo Wednesday evening.

According to KOMO, the incident was reported shortly after 5:30 p.m. at the SODO station. No information regarding how the man ended up on the light rail tracks has been made available at this time.

The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries. His condition remains unknown as of Friday morning. Link Light Rail service was suspended for a short amount of time while the incident was under investigation. It has since resumed.
