News: Police chase on I-405 North in Bellevue ends in collision and arrest

BELLEVUE, WA – According to KIRO 7, police were engaged in a chase on Interstate 405 North that ended in a crash and the driver’s arrest on Thursday night.

The driver reportedly attempted to evade police by turning around on the highway, but struck another vehicle. Troopers then deployed bean bags and were able to stop and arrest the driver near Coal Creek Parkway Southeast.

Most of the northbound lanes of I-405 were temporarily shut down following the accident.

Fortunately, no one seems to have been injured in the crash.

The circumstances of the incident remained under investigation and no further details were released. We will update this blog if more information comes to light.
