News: WSP, WSDOT closes SR 18 West in King Co. due to semi-truck crash 

KING COUNTY, WA – Washington State Patrol and Washington Department of Transportation shut down a portion of State Route 18 West on Tuesday due to a semi-truck crash. 

Kiro7 said the semi-truck crash happened near milepost 24 outside of Tiger Mountain. Officials did not specify the cause of the collision. However, a photo reveals the semi-truck, which was carrying over 80,000 pounds of potatoes, had crashed and overturned in a ditch. 

It is not immediately clear whether anyone was injured or if anyone needed to go to a hospital. 

Tow truck crews were called to the scene.
