News: WSP suspects impairment in Lynnwood wrong-way crash  

LYNNWOOD, WA – Washington State Patrol suspects that impairment was a contributing factor behind a wrong-way crash that sent two women to the hospital Sunday. 

Troopers told Kiro7 that the collision occurred on State Route 524 on Sunday. Preliminary details show that a 23-year-old woman was driving west in eastbound State Route 524 when she collided head-on with another vehicle driven by a 31-year-old woman. 

The 31-year-old woman could not get out of the way in time and crashed into the 23-year-old woman. 

The women were left with unspecified injuries and taken to Providence Medical Center. 

Troopers did not say if they arrested the 23-year-old woman.
