News: WSP responds to wreck on I-405 in Bellevue’s Woodridge area

KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon blocked a right lane on Interstate 405 near Bellevue’s Woodridge neighborhood, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The accident occurred on the northbound lanes at Southeast 8th Street and was first reported by the WSDOT at 1:25 p.m.

It was not immediately clear what caused the accident, but the Washington State Patrol and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team were at the scene shortly after.

Footage captured at the scene suggests multiple vehicles were involved.

Shortly before 2:00 p.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.

As of this writing, no injuries have been reported.
