KING COUNTY, WA — A semi-truck overturned late Thursday afternoon, closing multiple lanes on State Route 167 in Pacific, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The collision took place in an area near Ellingson Road and was first reported by Trooper Rick Johnson at 4:18 p.m.
Little information has been provided, but authorities said the semi was overloaded and tipped when its driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.
Traffic was forced to get by through a single open lane. By 6:16 p.m., nearly two hours after the wreck, officials said it would take another estimated 30 minutes before the roadway would be reopened to traffic.

At this time, the WSP has not disclosed the condition of the driver or reported any injuries.
