News: WSDOT closes majority of SR 167 in Kent due to vehicle accident 

NEAR KENT, WA – Washington Department of Transportation crews shut down a majority of southbound SR 167 south of SR 516 on Wednesday due to a vehicle accident. 

WSDOT Traffic reported the crash at 2:57 p.m., saying officials shut down the HOV and left lanes. Traffic delays lingered as crews worked to clear the scene. 

UPDATE: On southbound SR 167 just south of SR 516, the collision is still blocking the HOV and the left lanes.

Authorities did not specify how the collision unfolded, list the number of people and vehicles involved, or say if anyone was injured.
