News: WS-DOT called to crash blocking portion of I-5 in Kent 

KENT, WA – The Washington Department of Transportation was called to the scene of a vehicle crash blocking a portion of Interstate 5 South on Thursday. 

WSDOT reported the crash at 7:40 a.m., saying it took place south of South 272nd Street and was blocking a right lane. 

On I-5 southbound just south of S 272nd St (MP 146) there is a collision blocking the right lane.

During that time, crews worked to clear the scene of the crash and likely told drivers to proceed with caution as they worked to restore safe road conditions. 

Officials have not specified the events leading up to the crash or said whether anyone was injured.
