SEATTLE, WA – An allegedly impaired, wrong-way driver struck another vehicle on the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge on Sunday, according to KIRO 7.
A 60-year-old man was driving a Hyundai Elantra east in the westbound lanes of WA 520 when he hit a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old man head-on.
First responders transported the 26-year-old to an area hospital in critical condition. The wrong-way driver was not hurt in the collision.
Authorities arrested the wrong-way driver for DUI and vehicular assault.
