SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A 50-year-old woman was found deceased Sunday night after a recreational vehicle caught fire in Marysville, according to KOMO News.
The Marysville Fire District said the fire was reported off of 41st Avenue Northeast. Crews responded to the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m.
It was unclear how the flames started, but firefighters arrived to find the vehicle completely engulfed by the blaze.
A man in his 60s who was found outside the RV with burns to his hands and arms was transported to Providence Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
After containing the fire, crews were able to search the RV and discover the deceased woman in the passenger seat. No other information on the victim has been released.
Responding crews noted a nearby camper sustained minor damage due to the fire.
An investigation by the Snohomish County Fire Marshal and Marysville Police Department remains underway.
