SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A female pedestrian was killed Friday afternoon after being hit by a car pulling out from a parking lot near the Beverly Acres area in Lynnwood, according to Q13 FOX Seattle.
The crash happened along the southbound lanes of state Highway 99 near 176th Street Southwest shortly before 1:30 p.m.
Lynnwood Police said the woman was walking on the sidewalk when a car leaving a nearby business crashed into her.
Shortly after the accident, all southbound lanes on the highway were closed to traffic.
No other information has been reported on the causing driver.
