News: Woman, 27, loses life to pedestrian crash in Seattle 

SEATTLE, WA – A 27-year-old woman lost her life to a pedestrian crash that occurred in the Capitol Hill neighborhood on Monday, Fox13Seattle reports. 

Preliminary details show that a driver of a Toyota Prius struck the woman as he was turning right onto East Pine Street from Bellevue Avenue East. 

The force of the collision caused the woman to become pinned underneath the man’s vehicle. 

The woman died from her injuries at the scene. Seattle Police said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. 

Police confirmed that the driver was not arrested. No citations were reported for him.
