News: Vehicle overturns in crash near Seattle’s Ballard area

SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle overturned in a crash Wednesday morning near the Ballard area in north Seattle, according to Seattle Fire Department.

Crews on scene of vehicle on its side at 6700 block of 15th Ave. NW. All occupants self extricated from the vehicle. Avoid the area as crews mitigate the incident.

The incident occurred at the 6700 block of 15th Avenue Northwest and was first reported by Seattle Fire at 8:00 a.m.

Few details have been shared on the crash, but all occupants were able to extricate themselves from the vehicle before crews arrived on scene, suggesting minor injuries.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the number of people injured, or the extent of their injuries.

Motorists were instructed to avoid the area as the scene was being cleared.
