News: Vehicle downs utility pole on Sylvan Way SW in West Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A driver crashed their car into a utility pole early Saturday in West Seattle’s High Point neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.

The accident happened on a stretch of Sylvan Way Southwest and was first reported by WSB at 12:50 a.m.

Local officials have not said what led up to the wreck or whether anyone suffered serious injuries, but a vehicle struck and downed the power pole, leaving the eastbound lane blocked.

It was unclear whether that driver was cited or charged, but no other vehicles appear to have been involved.
