News: Vehicle crashes into Renton building, injuring 2

RENTON, WA – A driver crashed into a Renton building in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The Renton Police Department tweeted that the crash occurred at Rainier Avenue S & South 2nd Street at around 2:33 a.m. From the photo they posted it appears the car crashed into a MetroPCS building.

Both people in the vehicle were transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.

Local authorities believe speed and impairment of the driver are possible factors in the crash.
