NEAR MARYSVILLE, WA – A 72-year-old man was killed, and a 72-year-old woman was injured in a car-tractor-trailer crash near Marysville on Wednesday, a Kiro7 update reveals.
The crash occurred on State Route 9 North near 84th Street Northeast. Washington State Patrol determined that a 72-year-old man, driving a car, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the tractor-trailer.
The 72-year-old man died from his injuries at the scene, while his passenger, the 72-year-old woman, survived.
WSP did not state the woman’s current physical condition and confirmed the truck driver was uninjured.
