MASON CO., WA – The Lacy man who died after crashing his vehicle off US-101 early Sunday morning has been identified by police.
According to a report by the Olympian, the accident took place shortly after 2 a.m. as 77-year-old Eui W. Park was traveling south near Purdy Cutoff Road.
Park lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons and crashed into a light pole before overturning in a hatchery pond. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe drugs or alcohol may have played a role in the fatal crash.
