JEFFERSON CO., WA – The Washington State Highway Patrol released a report giving the names of the driver and injured passenger involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 104 near Port Ludlow last Wednesday afternoon, reports The Peninsula Daily News.

According to the report, the 2012 Volkswagen Jetta that initiated the incident by rear ending a stopped 2005 Kia sedan was being driven by 46-year-old Ryan Snyder. WSP says the injured passenger in the Jetta, 55-year-old Carolyn Ipsen was taken to Harborview Medical Center by helicopter transport. However, Susan Gregg, a Harborview spokesperson, said Ipsen did not receive care there.
The report stated no one else was injured.
The rear ended Kia sedan was being driven by 36-year-old Anna Reiling of Squamish. After the initial collision, the sedan was sent into the rear end of a 2001 Honda Accord being driven by 56-year-old Christain Parker of Chimacaum.
Snyder’s Volkswagen Jetta and Reiling’s Kia sedan were damaged beyond use and towed away. Parker’s Honda Accord was damaged but could be driven from the crash scene.
WSP’s crash report stated all motorists were secured in their vehicles. Drugs or alcohol are not believed to have played a role.
