SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash and subsequent liquid spill Saturday morning that closed a section of the West Seattle Bridge, according to West Seattle Blog.
Seattle Police and Fire Department crews arrived at the scene on the westbound low bridge shortly before 10:33 a.m.
While no major injuries were immediately reported, motorists were urged to avoid the area as crews worked to address a resulting fluid spill on the roadway. A broken fire hydrant on West Marginal Way was also spewing water that was running nearly a foot deep.
By 11:18 a.m., more than 45 minutes later, all lanes of the low bridge were reopened to the public.
