News: Two seriously injured in pedestrian accident near Bellevue intersection

KING COUNTY, WA — A man and a woman were hospitalized Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle in Bellevue’s Crossroads neighborhood, according to KIRO 7 News.

Police said the incident took place near 140th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 5th Street.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but the male pedestrian was left bleeding from the head.

The two victims, both in their 30s, were reported conscious as they were transported to a nearby hospital. The severity of their condition has not been disclosed.

Authorities said the driver stayed after the accident.

An investigation was under way.
