News: Two men, one teenager hurt in two-car collision near Easton

KITTITAS COUNTY, WA — Two male drivers and a teenage passenger were injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash involving two cars on Interstate 90 in Kittitas County, according to Columbia Basin Herald.

The incident occurred two miles northwest of Easton on I-90 at around 12:28 p.m.

A 78-year-old Moses Lake man was at the wheel of a 2020 Subaru Forester going westbound on I-90 when he attempted to changed lanes at the same time a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 was passing. The Forester struck the Dodge Ram, causing the Ram to hit a barrier and roll until landing in all three lanes of I-90 westbound. The Forester came to a rest on the left shoulder.

The Moses Lake man was injured and treated at the scene. He may be facing charges in the accident for improper merging. A 63-year-old Moses Lake woman who was a passenger in the Forester was not injured.

The Ram driver, a 48-year-old Issaquah man, as well as a 14-year-old Issaquah passenger, were taken to Harborview Medical Center for injuries. A second passenger, a 17-year-old of Issaquah, was uninjured.
