KING COUNTY, WA — Two people were injured Saturday morning when a vehicle slammed into Kent Panther Lake Library, according to KIRO 7 News.
King County Fire crews responded to the scene off 108th Avenue Southeast.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the incident, but firefighters confirmed two patients suffered minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
Due to structural damage to the building, the library is projected to remain closed until at least June 25th for repairs.
Patrons were asked to refer to a nearby branch library located at 212 2nd Avenue North.
At this time, no further information has been released, but an investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
