TUKWILA, WA – Three cars collided at South 144th Street Wednesday evening while a deputy was pursuing a criminal suspect.
According to Kiro7, the accident involved two deputy vehicles and one civilian vehicle, and occurred at South 154th Street and Tukwila International Boulevard around 6:07 p.m.
Responding authorities shut down northbound Tukwila International Boulevard, and all but one southbound lane.
One deputy was injured and transported to a local hospital.
The driver of the civilian vehicle was taken into custody. There was also one passenger in their vehicle. Local authorities reported the driver has a felony U.S. Marshall warrant regarding a weapons offense.
