TACOMA, WA – According to KOMO, the Washington State Patrol is investigating a wrong-way collision involving an alleged impaired driver that occurred at I-705 NB and E 15th St on Sunday.
A wrong-way driver collided with a small SUV head-on around 4:30 a.m.
.Another vehicle was heading north when they struck one of the occupants from the victim car of the first crash.
Rescue crews transported the wrong-way driver and the two occupants of the victim car to an area hospital.
Authorities arrested the wrong-way driver for DUI.
The third driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities following the collision.
