BELLEVUE, WA – According to KIRO 7, the Washington State Patrol is investigating a fatal semi-truck collision that occurred on westbound Washington 520 near Interstate 405 on Friday.
A 53-year-old man was driving a semi-truck when he had a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle around 3:30 p.m.
The truck hit the right guardrail before coming to a stop on the shoulder.
First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the driver’s name.
