SEATTLE, WA – According to KING 5, a train struck and killed a man at Broad St and Alaskan Way on Tuesday.
Authorities believe the victim was walking west on Broad St and waited as the southbound train passed. He then walked across the tracks and did not see the oncoming train. He was hit by the train around 10:05 a.m.
First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
