News: Traffic on E James St at Central Ave in Kent closed after pedestrian struck by train

KENT, WA – The official twitter page of the Kent Police Department reported that a collision between a train and a pedestrian at the intersection of East James Street and Central Avenue North forced nearby traffic to be closed on E James St.

Kent Police said they would follow up when traffic is reopened and urged drivers to take alternate routes.

Kent Police are investigating a Train vs. pedestrian collision. James St. at Central is closed and will remain closed for at least an hour. Please use S. 212th St. or Smith St. to get around the collision. Will update when roadway is open. pic.twitter.com/AZh1Ud1h8r
