News: TPD investigates collision on S 12th St in central Tacoma

PIERCE COUNTY, WA – A vehicle accident was reported early Tuesday evening on South 12th Street in central Tacoma, according to the Tacoma Police Department.

The crash happened on a stretch of South 12th Street between South Cedar Street and South Alder Street. It was first reported at 5:26 p.m., when Tacoma Police were already on the scene.

Motorists were warned of delays in the area as part of the road was shut down to accommodate an investigation. At the time of the initial report, the area was expected to remain closed for at least another hour.
