News: Toddler in critical condition after fall in North Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — An 18-month-old boy is in critical condition after falling 20 feet from an open window in North Seattle on Wednesday, according to KOMO News.

Emergency workers were alerted to the incident and arrived at a home on the 4100 block of Linden Avenue North by 7:30 p.m.

The young boy was rushed to Harborview Medical Center for treatment, according to a spokesperson with the Seattle Fire Department.

It has not been made clear if someone else was home with the toddler at the time of the fall.

Following the incident, Seattle fire officials reminded the public about the danger posed by open windows.
